Ever since I got back from Abu Dhabi my sleep has been all the way off track. I don’t go to bed until about 7-7:30 am. Which, isn’t all terrible because I get so much work done in these wee hours when I’m way less distracted. During the day time there’s always a million and 1 things to keep me OFF track. Someone’s calling, someone’s texting, someone is messaging me on Facebook, there’s construction outside, or I go to fb or insta to upload or update something and there’s 1 million things catching your attention. I’m trying to find a feature on fb where you can change your fb from automatically taking you to the news feed every time you log in. It never used to be like that did it? Yeah, no, it def wasn’t like that before. If anyone knows how to do it please comment below on the how to!
I feel like we’re in a culture and time where we have all this stuff being shoved down our throats, whether we want it or not. That’s why I tell people all the time, be selective with who you follow or subscribe to on fb or insta, because what you see you allow into your spirit. and you tend to become that. Follow successful people so that you can aspire to be just that, successful. Like I love my friends, but not everybody is always positive, inspiring or uplifting so I’m super picky with who I follow. Like on instagram I follow, Oprah, Ellen (for my daily vitamins of laughs), fashion vibe (one of the most inspiring simplistic style bloggers), Mira Dumaslava, Yasmin Sewell, Taylor Thomasi-Hill, and certain photographers with an artistic eye like Adam Katz of le21me. I mean, you tend to become what you see and if I’m lucky enough to soak up any inspiration from any of the people above, I feel like I’ve accomplished or learned something in a day, every day. You must aspire to learn something everyday. You should know more tomorrow than you did yesterday. Learn something new EVERY DAY.
