I’ve been spending so much time searching for something that was in front of me the entire time. Peace. I don’t know why I hadn’t realized it before. But so many circumstances, hardships, struggles and roadblocks were in the way of me seeing was in front of me. Once the roommates, the clutter, the excess of things I didn’t need were gone, I could see clearly. I’ve had roommates for more than the last decade of my life. Every time one moved out, one moved in. I had never really lived on my own. So here I am, finally in a place where all of that has changed. And it feels so good. The journey here was rough, but if I would have known what would have awaited me, I would have never complained. Thank you Lord, for always having my back. I doubted, was insecure and unsure of how things would turn out. And look at how they turned out. I’m beyond grateful. With a beautiful place, good health, a great man by my side, and peace, finally. If we wait on God, leave it in his hands and walk firmly in faith, life would be so much more stress free.
