Loose Braid Out Waves

I wanted to do some messy, loose waves in my hair and couldn’t figure out the best way to do it and make it last. So after several attempts, Here’s what I finally came up with and I love it.

I braided my hair into 3 large braids. One on each side and then one in the middle. On dry hair, I used Frizz Ease’ Air Dry Waves Styling Foam in the palm of my hand. I rubbed a little of it first down the shaft of the hair and then one more pump during the braid itself. Honestly, this stuff holds so well that I really should have only used one pump per section. But I generally overdue everything when it comes to using hair products, HA!

I tie my hair down with a silk scarf and then go to bed. That’s my favorite part, so simple. No sitting under a dryer, no discomfort while I sleep. Just 3 braids comfyyyy braids :-D. I do them a little firm but not tight. In the morning when I wake up, I just unravel them and *heart eyes emoji* gorgeous loose waves.

This is mainly my go-to style for when my hair is on its last stretch before its time to wash. I usually wash my hair around once a week, so this gives me a few more days before having to wash all over again. This style usually lasts me about 3 days before getting tangled a little. But those 3 extra days are life saving when I dont feel like washing my hair. And the dirtier the hair the better the hold, lol. So this is a perfect little stretch and messy do 🙂

How often are you washing your hair? and What are your hair tricks for stretching your hair?

So effortless and easy to do! Never thought of just spraying my hair with sea salt and braiding it. Soooo easy! And cute! 😍
