I started to struggle to throw outfits together when I just needed to go. Who wants to take all the time to stand or sit in front of their closets trying to figure out what to wear. So I started pulling a few staple pieces. Just basic but classic pieces, like a good coat or 2, a pair of pants and some tops. And I told myself, “this is all I want to see and choose from when I’m getting ready”. It took the fuss out of staring at a huge variety of options in my closet. This way, I could swap out things I loved and wanted to get a chance to wear.
