I had the pleasure of partnering up with target to do a Summer Refresh featuring Target Home. I decided to redo the one space in my home that was definitely the most neglected and was in desperate need of some organizing. It needed and intense declutter. All the beauty products I’d accumulated in my bathroom definitely needed to be purged and reorganized. And I did just that.
I started with these metal drawers. I grabbed a can of rust oleum white spray paint while I was in Target and decided to refresh these by spray painting them white. They were originally gold and the gold was peeling in far too many places. This coat of white spray paint truly brought it back to life. And I’m even happier I did this instead of repainting them gold again. The white was definitely the way to go. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Then on top I grabbed a few pieces of wood to play against the white and then topped it off with these gorgeous white vases from Target’s in house brand- Project 62. Did you know that project 62 represents the year target was founded, 1962 and the peak of the mid-century modern movement? I love that. They’re 100% ceramic and have a beautiful texture to them.
Just next to them is Target’s in-house home decor brand as well, I think my fave, Opalhouse. I have long loved this line, as I’ve always found the most beautiful boho-style pieces from this brand. This faux plant is everythingggg. I’m so in love with it. It has such a realistic look too, I might spray it with water occasionally for fun, lol. And I caught it on sale. LOVE.
I also redid my over the toilet storage. THIS was probably the most challenging as far as ideas. Coming up with what storage ideas could be functional as well as aesthetic. I wanted something minimal but to still be able to access the items I use on a regular basis. The Threshold storage bin above I was able to put q-Tips, cotton pads, my perfume, chapstick, tweezers, lotion, and a small spray bottle of alcohol. It looks like a small bin but REALLY holds a lot. I absolutely love this thing.
The items below it on that bottom shelf are also super cute and functional. The basket to the far left, I use it to store my feminine products, geniussss! Super easy to get to and refill. Sits right on top of the toilet so I can easily access it. The gold leaf tray in the middle is by Opalhouse and it was only $9.99! It’s so beautiful. I store my jewelry in there, my rings and watches. It’s perfect. To the far right, a gorgeous reed diffuser from Casaluna. This is another target brand focused on gorgeous bedding and bath products.
Would you really believe me if I told you this faux plant was only $5? Well, believe me! lol. I was so excited I got 2. You can see the other on the sink. So cute. I was so happy and excited at the same time to get such gorgeous items at these unbelievable prices. Check out my Instagram to see more videos and photos on everything I got! And stay tuned for the complete before and after!
